What this service actually addresses

A professional baseline comes first

Recurring maintenance is designed to maintain an established Fresh & Shiny cleaning standard. New customers normally begin with the appropriate one-time initial cleaning for the areas they want maintained. Once those areas meet the maintenance baseline, they may transition into an approved recurring program. Your Cleaning Assessment determines the appropriate starting service, Scope of Work and recurring eligibility.

How the starting service is decided

The assessment looks at the property's current condition and the coverage you request. A home that needs a professional baseline or reset normally starts with Deep Cleaning Services, while substantial or severe buildup calls for Heavy-Duty & Restoration Cleaning. The condition rules decide, so the recommendation matches the property rather than a fixed promise.

Self-maintained homes and previous cleaners

Many homes are kept in excellent shape by the people who live in them. Telling us the home is well maintained, or that you clean it yourself, is useful condition information, but it doesn't by itself establish eligibility for the recurring program — Fresh & Shiny establishes its own professional baseline first. Previous service from another cleaning company or independent cleaner is collected as history in the assessment for the same reason: recurring eligibility comes from Fresh & Shiny's own approved baseline and completed service history.

Existing Fresh & Shiny customers

Customers with a verified approved maintenance baseline for the applicable areas continue or enter the recurring pathway according to their eligibility, confirmed against their completed Fresh & Shiny service history.

Coverage is what you approved

Recurring maintenance can apply to an approved portion of the home rather than the whole property — selected rooms, the main floor, kitchen and bathrooms, or other approved coverage. The approved Scope of Work determines exactly what is maintained on each visit.

Frequencies offered

Weekly, Every 2 Weeks (Bi-weekly), Every 3 Weeks, or Every 4 Weeks (Monthly). Nothing renews without a program you approved, and schedule changes, skips or pauses can be requested through Fresh & Shiny.

Every visit follows your Scope of Work

Each visit works from the Scope of Work you approved: every-visit priorities, rotational maintenance for items handled on a cycle, and condition-based attention where a covered area needs it that day. Work outside the approved Scope isn't completed automatically.

Why we don't publish a fixed price

Recurring service assumes the covered areas already sit at an approved Fresh & Shiny maintenance baseline. The assessment asks about current condition and cleaning history so the recommended starting service matches the property.

What changes your scope and price

  • Which rooms and bathrooms are included in the approved recurring coverage
  • Whether an initial Deep Cleaning or Heavy-Duty & Restoration baseline is needed first
  • Chosen frequency: weekly, every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks or every 4 weeks
  • Items handled on rotation versus every visit
  • Any add-ons you select, such as interior windows or bed making

How to prepare

  • Have selected floors and cleaning surfaces reasonably accessible before the team arrives
  • Clear clothing, toys and loose belongings from areas scheduled for cleaning
  • Let us know about pets and where they will be during the visit
  • Confirm how the team gets in: someone home, a lockbox or a code

Questions people ask before booking

Can I start with recurring cleaning as a new customer?

Recurring cleaning is a maintenance program, so it starts from an approved Fresh & Shiny baseline. New customers normally begin with the appropriate one-time initial cleaning — Deep Cleaning Services in most cases, or Heavy-Duty & Restoration Cleaning where the condition calls for it — and the covered areas then transition into recurring service.

My home is already well maintained. Do I still need an initial cleaning?

Usually yes, and it isn't a comment on how clean your home is. Fresh & Shiny establishes its own professional baseline in the areas to be maintained so every recurring visit is measured against a known standard.

I already use another cleaning company. Does that count?

We record it in your assessment history, but recurring eligibility is based on Fresh & Shiny's own approved baseline and completed service history rather than another provider's work.

Does recurring cleaning have to cover the whole house?

No. Recurring maintenance can cover an approved portion of the home, such as selected rooms, the main floor, or kitchen and bathrooms. Your approved Scope of Work defines the coverage.

Which frequencies are available?

Weekly, every 2 weeks (bi-weekly), every 3 weeks, or every 4 weeks (monthly). Schedule changes, skips or pauses can be requested through Fresh & Shiny, and the office confirms the change.

Is bed making included?

No. Bed making is an optional add-on included only when you select it and it is written into your Scope of Work.

Does organization or decluttering come with a recurring clean?

No. Organization and decluttering are separate services from standard recurring cleaning unless specifically selected.
