Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to prepare a cleaning recommendation, price and booking, and to deliver and support the service afterwards.

• Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
• Service address details: street address, unit, city, province and postal code.
• Property and access information: property type, rooms and areas, parking, entry instructions, pets and accessibility notes.
• Condition information and any photos or videos you choose to upload to support your assessment.
• Booking and service records: your Scope of Work, selected date and arrival window, service history and communications with our office.
• Payment records: deposit and balance amounts and their status. Full payment card numbers are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by Fresh & Shiny.
• Basic acquisition information such as the page or campaign parameters that led you to the site. This is informational only and never used to identify, authorize or price anything.

How we use your information

Your information is used to build your cleaning recommendation and Scope of Work, calculate your price, schedule and dispatch your service, communicate with you about your booking, and maintain accurate service and financial records.

If you save an assessment but do not complete a booking, we may contact you about that assessment where you have consented to be contacted.

Communication preferences and consent

During the assessment you tell us whether Fresh & Shiny may contact you about your request, and how you prefer to receive short service alerts such as an on-the-way notification. Booking confirmations, Scope of Work documents and receipts are sent by email.

You can change your communication preferences or withdraw consent to marketing-style contact at any time by contacting the office. Messages required to deliver a service you have booked will continue while that booking is active.

Photos and videos you upload

Media you upload is used to understand the condition of the areas you want cleaned and to plan the service accurately. It is attached to your assessment and service record and is available to Fresh & Shiny office staff and the assigned service team. We do not publish customer photos or use them in marketing without your permission.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to operate the service:

• Fresh & Shiny team members assigned to your service, who receive the operational details they need to perform it.
• Service providers that operate parts of our platform, such as hosting, database, email and messaging, payment processing, mapping and accounting systems, acting on our instructions.
• Where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

Keeping information secure

Access to customer records is restricted to the Fresh & Shiny office and the team members assigned to the relevant service. Customer accounts and team accounts are isolated so each can only see their own records. Credentials for third-party systems are stored as server-side secrets and are never exposed in the browser.

No system can be described as perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. We do commit to limiting access, collecting only what we need and telling you honestly if something goes wrong.

How long we keep information

Assessments, bookings, Scope of Work records and service history are retained while your relationship with Fresh & Shiny is active and for as long as needed to meet accounting, tax and legal obligations. Incomplete assessments are retained so you can return to them, and can be removed on request.

Your choices

You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete information we are not required to retain, or withdraw consent to non-essential contact.
