Kitchen grease and bathroom mineral deposits
Heavy kitchen grease accumulation on cabinets, backsplashes, range hoods and appliance exteriors softens with dwell time and surface-appropriate degreasers, not abrasion. Bathroom soap scum and hard-water mineral deposits on tile, glass and fixtures are treated with products matched to the surface so the finish is protected while the buildup lifts.
Equipment and methods matched to the buildup
The crew arrives with professional equipment and a product range chosen for restoration-level work: dwell-time degreasers, scale removers, detail tools and microfibre systems. Product strength follows the surface and the buildup — stronger products are used only where the surface safely tolerates them, and chlorine bleach is not part of our standard approach.
What this service does not include
Heavy-Duty & Restoration Cleaning is a cleaning service. It does not include mould remediation, biohazard or hazardous-material handling, hoarding clearance, pest treatment, repairs or junk hauling. Where a property needs that kind of work, we say so and recommend an appropriately qualified specialist.

- When grease, buildup, nicotine residue or other accumulated soil goes beyond what can reasonably be handled as standard Deep Cleaning.
- Does it have to cover the whole home?
- No. Heavy Restoration can apply to selected areas only — for example a heavily built-up bathroom, kitchen or appliance.
- Who does the work?
- It is a team service. Team size is set by the size, condition, scope and workload of the job; we don't promise a fixed team size in advance.
- What if the condition is different on the day?
- The arrival walkthrough confirms whether the selected service matches the actual condition. Any scope upgrade is identified and explained before additional work is performed.

Why we don't publish a fixed price
This service exists because condition varies widely. Your recommendation and price are based on the information supplied. Materially different conditions may require a Scope or price adjustment reviewed with you before additional work begins.

Fresh & Shiny does not provide mould remediation. Limited surface cleaning may be appropriate in some cases depending on material and condition, but conditions requiring remediation must be handled by a qualified specialist.
Will surfaces look new again?
Cleaning removes buildup, but permanent staining, etching or wear may remain. We are clear about the difference before the visit.
What happens after a restoration clean?
Many customers move to recurring maintenance so buildup does not return to the same level, though this depends on your household's needs.
